Instead of sending files one way and chasing the invoice separately, you drop your files into a secure transfer, attach your price and payment details, and share one link. Your client sees exactly what they're getting — but the downloads stay locked until you confirm they've paid.

Anyone who delivers digital work and expects to be paid for it: photographers sending a shoot, video editors delivering a cut, designers handing over final assets, illustrators, studios and agencies. If your current process is "send the files, then hope the invoice gets paid," Dropit flips the order.

Three steps. Add your files. Attach an invoice — your price, due date and how you want to be paid. Send. Your client gets an email with a link where they can see the delivery, pay you through your own payment details, and submit proof of payment. The moment you confirm it, their downloads unlock.

Yes — the free plan is fully usable: transfers up to 10 MB, five active transfers at a time, and we hold each delivery for 7 days. Premium removes the ceilings: 1 GB per transfer, unlimited transfers, files held until you delete them, and automatic payment reminders.

Through your own payment channels — you attach them to each invoice. Dropit supports M-Pesa paybill and till numbers, bank transfer details, and Paystack payment links. Your client pays you directly, then submits proof (like a receipt screenshot) inside Dropit for you to confirm or dispute.

No. Payments go straight from your client to you through the payment method you chose — Dropit never touches the money. What Dropit controls is the files: they stay locked until you confirm the payment arrived, so the leverage stays with you without a middleman holding your earnings.

They sign in with Google — one click, no passwords. That's what keeps a delivery private: the link only works for the email address you sent it to, so a forwarded link doesn't expose your work to anyone else.

On the free plan each transfer is held for 7 days, then moves to your Trash, where it's restorable for another 7 days before it's gone for good. Expiry runs on its own clock whether or not the invoice was paid — Premium removes it entirely by holding files until you delete them.

Files live in private cloud storage and are only reachable through short-lived, signed download links that are generated after two checks pass: you're the sender or the intended recipient, and the payment gate (if any) is cleared. Nothing is listed publicly, and nobody else's Google account can open your delivery.
